Westside jam starts at 11.00am - 02nd November 2025
There was a typo in the newsletter stating that the Westside jam on December 10th starts at 1.00pm. That's wrong - as always it starts at 11.00am. It's good that our vigilant newsletter readers noticed the typo and reported it.

This jam on Friday 17 October was set up as a one-off to celebrate Queensland Senior’s Month. We also thought it would be a good opportunity to run a weekday, day-time jam on the Northside and see what support we got. What we got was more than 40 players and singers who had a great time. It was a fun night at the Archive in West End on the second Tuesday in the month. There were lots of well-known singalong songs and a few surprises. Some straightforward songs and some challenges with new riffs and chords to get our teeth into. Come and try this centrally located jam next month on the 11 November.
