Renewing your membership
For many long-standing members of BUMS, 30 June is your renewal date. You will have received an email from Member Jungle inviting you to renew. You may receive reminders from Member Jungle until the end of August depending on how you renew.
There are four ways to renew. We’d love you to use the first two. If in doubt, ask someone at the Welcome desk at a jam or email the secretary for help at secretary@brisbaneukulele.com
No 1. Use the Member Jungle App
100% recommended
You should be logged into the App, and it will 'know' who you are. Click on Renew Now and follow the prompts to pay using your credit or debit card. All done in a flash! BUMS has your payment and your Member Jungle record is updated.
No 2. Use the website
100% recommended
Log in using your username and password. From the Home Page, click renew and follow the prompts to pay with a debit or credit card. Again, it’s all done in a flash. BUMS has your payment and your Member Jungle record is updated.
Note. Member Jungle uses the STRIPE payment facility. It’s a safe, secure and reliable service. We have never had any problems with payments through STRIPE.
No 3. Pay at a jam
We’d prefer you didn’t pay this way.
You can pay in cash or by credit/debit card using the Square readers. Both these methods impose more work on our volunteers at the Welcome desk and behind the scenes. We have to track your payment, reconcile it our bank account and update Member Jungle manually. It will take time and with the best will in the world, from time-to-time things may go wrong. Our volunteers love playing ukulele as much as you do – much more fun than chasing manual payments.
No 4. Pay into our bank account
We’d prefer you didn’t pay this way.
You can deposit money into our bank account. This means the Treasurer has to manually identify transactions in the bank account and manually update Member Jungle. There may be delays and things may go wrong. Our Treasurer loves playing ukulele as much as you do – much more fun than chasing manual payments.
