World Ukulele Day Wrap Up

If you weren’t there, you missed a treat.  It was a fabulous (though hot day) at the Coorparoo Bowls Club.  The day featured three stages, a beginner’s class, a workshop and continuous ukulele playing from 9.30am to 6.30pm.  We estimated there were close to 200 people in attendance during the day!

Check out photos of the day.

If you haven’t heard the news, we are looking for a new space for the Ferny Grove jam as the current venue has been taken over.

And we also hear that Bowls Queensland intends to put the Coorparoo Bowls Club up for sale.
