World Ukulele Day 1 February 2026

This annual ukulele bash is on again on 1 February 2026.  There will be 15 ukulele bands performing or leading jams on three stages over eight hours of ukulele.  Our plan is to have continuous music all day – as one act ends, the next one will start on a different stage.  And it’s free for everyone, all part of BUMS mission to show Greater Brisbane what great music can be made on the ukulele.

Ukulele Skills Workshops with Derek Farrell

Just two weeks until these workshops start.  The survey about the events you wanted BUMS to run told us finger picking, strumming and more ukulele skills were important to you.  Here’s what you asked for. There are still places available, so book now.

All you need is your ukulele (soprano, concert or tenor either high and low G) and a music stand.  Skill and practice notes will be provided.
