A great afternoon full of wonderful music and four talented Open Mike performances at Geebung Bowls Club on Sunday!

Geebung Bowls Club was where it was all happening on Sunday afternoon with the GeeBums Jam with Andrew.

Lots of wonderful music through the afternoon, starting with a few easier popular numbers. Everyone was in good voice by the time Sylvia joined Andrew for ‘Top of the World’ by The Carpenters.

We sang a few great songs from Paul Simon…’The Boxer’and ‘Sounds of Silence’, being two of them!
A great version of ‘Mack the Knife’ followed featuring some amazing harmonica playing!

‘Khe Sanh’ by Cold Chisel was a very fitting tribute to ANZAC Day!
There were 4 great Open Mike performances throughout the afternoon, with Peter managing to fit in a sneaky little extra one, in response to Deidre’s funny song about growing old, called ‘Get up and Go’. Graham sang ‘Wings of an Eagle’ by Russell Morris, Peter sang an old classic, ‘Ain’t Misbehavin’ and Linda wowed everyone with a performance of ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri. Well done to everyone…you all did a wonderful job!

The afternoon wrapped up with a few more popular songs, including ‘Sunny’, ‘Quando, Quando, Quando’ and a big finish with ‘Sally MacLennane’ by the Pogues. A great finish to a wonderful afternoon!
