March Jams:

Flat Lizard Jam (Stafford), Sunday 9 March 2025, 12.30pm-2.30pm. A laid back jam session with Blair Marks. Suits ukulele players at intermediate level but everyone welcome. Read more here.

Westside Jam (Sinnamon Park), Wednesday 12 March 2025 , 11am-1pm. Join Sue and Peter at the Westside jam. Enjoy songs mostly from the 60s and 70s, and the freshly baked scones in the cafe. Read more here.

Registrations Are Still Open! Vocal Workshop with Elizabeth Ross After a popular and successful workshop in 2023, Elizabeth Ross is back again with a new vocal workshop. Saturday 22 March, 12.30pm-4.00pm at Coorparoo Bowls Club. Session one (90 mins) will cover breath work and ear training. The second session (90 mins) will cover interpretation of a song and reworking a song to suit your voice and style. Elizabeth makes the sessions participative, practical, challenging and fun. Cost is $50 with a $10 discount for BUMS financial members. "With my workshops, I encourage everyone to find their authentic voice by enjoying the numerous benefits of singing. Glasshuse Musos - Open Mic Opportunities individuals and bands are invited to strut their stuff on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at the Beerwah Hotel from 6.30pm. These sessions are not traditional ukulele nights but provide a band with a stage all set up to walk on and play. |
