We're looking for a Facebook coordinator

BUMS has two Facebook sites - a public-facing site (Brisbane Ukulele) and a closed group for members only (BUMS Online).  We are looking for someone with Facebook experience to manage the operation of these sites. If this is you, read on.

The roles and responsibilities of the social media coordinator are as follows.

Overall requirements 
The role is to monitor the two Facebook sites to ensure they are used in a friendly way to reflect positively on BUMS and meet our social media policies. The coordinator should have experience in using Facebook and understand the aims of BUMS to promote ukulele music and have fun.

The BUMS management committee will support and provide guidance to the social media coordinator.

Brisbane Ukulele Facebook page
Only nominated people can post on the site.  The coordinator will review requests to post items on Facebook to ensure they comply with our social media policies. They can post images and text from BUMS events they have attended.

BUMS online
This is a closed group which is only available to BUMS members. Any member of the group can post on the site. The coordinator will check and approve requests to join the BUMS On-line Group and review messages, images and video clips posted by BUMS members to ensure they are appropriate and comply with our social media policies.
