Join the fun-loving members of Brisbane Ukulele Musicians Society for a session of ukulele playing and singing.  There will be rock and roll, country, pop, old standards, classics from the 50s and 60s and more.  All songs will be projected onto a screen, and you can sing along to your heart's content (and play a ukulele or any other instrument if you like). Linda Gough and Kevin Buckley will lead the fun with some guest performers and open mics.

GREAT NEWS - the Little Nyona kitchen is back servicing Malaysian cuisine - and they're still running the kitchen at Geebung.

Event Description

  • Venue: Ferny Grove Bowls, Sports and Community Club, 20 Tramway Street, Ferny Grove.
  • Time: Beginner’s session with Donna Farrell from 6.00pm. Jam starts 7.00pm, goes until 9.00pm.
  • Cost: BUMS Members FREE, Non-members with a ukulele $10, anyone else free.  Come and try a jam – no charge for first time players.
  • Food: Little Nyona kitchen serving Malaysian cuisine
  • Ample off-street parking.
  • Jam coordinator – Linda Gough.

Ukulele skills workshops Ferny Grove
A series of workshops to build your playing skills run by long time BUMS member Derek Farrell. The workshops will run over seven Thursday nights (6.30pm to 7.30pm) from 15 January 2026 at Ferny Grove Bowls, Sports and Community Club.
