GeeBUMS Jam and Open Mics

Andrew Hunt is away this month, so Graham Hall and Peter Grace will lead the jam.  We'll have a list of songs, and you can choose your favourites. We welcome anyone who wants to do an open mic.   The jam is a small and supportive group who will support you if you're new to this.

Event Description

  • Venue: Geebung Bowls Club, 21 Thompson St, Zillmere. Carpark and entry from 357 Robinson Road (opposite Meals on Wheels)
  • Time: Starts at 1.30pm, goes until 3.30pm.  No beginner’s session.
  • Cost: FREE for everyone.
  • Food is available in the venue at Little Nyonya Kitchen (Malaysian cuisine) until 3.00pm.
  • Fully stocked bar. 
  • Ample off-street parking.
  • Jam coordinator – Andrew Hunt.
  • Get your name on the whiteboard to play a song or two in the open mic.

Coorparoo Singalong Jam Coorparoo
Join the fun-loving members of Brisbane Ukulele Musicians Society for an evening of ukulele and singing.  There will be rock and roll, country, pop, old standards, classics from the 50s and 60s and more.  All songs will be projected onto a screen, and you can sing along to your heart's content (and play a ukulele or any other instrument if you like).
