Ukulele Friday @ Corinda

Now meeting in a new roomier part of the Corinda Bowls Club, Gabrielle Liddle, Jen Reynolds, and Sam Reynolds lead jammers through songs with a difference. Influenced by the diverse age range of the hosts and their diverse musical taste, you will get to play along to a great choice of old standards and new favourites and anything in between. Pop, folk, rock, and country are all on the table!
- Venue: Corinda Bowls Club, 58 Hall Avenue, Corinda, 4075. Hall Avenue is at the end of Nelson Street, off Oxley Avenue
- Time: Jam starts at 6:30 pm until 8.00pm.
- Cost: BUMS Members are free. Non-members pay $10. It's free for people trying the jam for the first time, and free for singers and spectators.
- Food trucks are available from 5.30-7.30pm.
- Fully stocked bar.
- Ample street parking.

Sinnamon Park
Known in BUMS as the ‘Friendly Jam’, Sue and Peter usually run a great jam at Sinnamon Park. This month they are away but they've left a special song list and guest set leaders will run the jam. Everyone is welcome to enjoy songs mostly from the 60’s and 70’s. We will welcome newcomers, and birthday boys and girls as usual and there’s a door prize for free coffee or tea at the first break. ...

Ukulele sail is definitely on

We have confirmation that the ukulele cruise on Queensland's Tall Ship, South Passage is definitely ON. The sail is open to all ukulele players (not just BUMS) to combine a day out on Moreton Bay with a stopover on St Helena Island for lunch and a jam. Bring family and friends as well. ...
