‘Everything I learnt from the Beatles’
A fun workshop using Beatles songs to explain and practise musical skills to enhance your playing including
- Understanding metre/counting and counting in
- Harmony suggestions. How to get those sweet intervals
- Chord choices and progressions. How to turn the ordinary into the special
- Learn the ‘Broken Chord Manoeuvre’. Littered throughout their ballads, and everyone else’s since!
All delivered with interesting trivia, an eye on the social context and yeah, probably too much fond reminiscence
‘Barre Chords for Numpties’
Have you mastered the basic chords like A, F, C, Bb and Bm? Wondering where to go next? Barre chords could be the answer.
Adrian will take you through a very practical session explaining
- how to play chords you may currently be avoiding such as C#, E, Eb, F#, G#, Bbm, and C#m.
- how to explore the fretboard without thinking.
- how to make songs more interesting
You’ll leave the workshop with a swagger in your step because your uke playing has forever changed and will now be even more interesting.
