Vic Kena's Ukulele Picnic

BUMS member, Vic Kena is running a Ukulele Picnic on Saturday 7 October at Moggill. His aim is to celebrate the Ukulele with a family friendly event in a beautiful outdoor setting.

There will be a Big Band Jam session, tailored workshops, "Shine Like the Stars" showcase, and Vic Kena's Ukulele band.

When? Saturday 7 October from 2.00pm. Gates open 1.00pm.  Will finish at 5.00pm.
Where? Moggill Home, 157 Livesay Road, Moggill.  Moggill Home is a beautiful outdoor setting which is perfect for the afternoon picnic style occasion. Moggill Home is only minutes from the Moggill ferry and has been hosting the Moggill Music Medley for many years.
Cost? $30

BYO: Ukulele, picnic basket & sunscreen (favourite rug & camping chair optional).

This family-friendly afternoon is a BYO picnic allowing a personal touch to all who attend. There will be a licensed bar provided by the local sports club and a sausage sizzle hosted by the local Men’s Shed.
Big Band Jam: There will be song charts available to download from my website when tickets are purchased.

Showcase: Vic is looking for ukulele players or ukulele bands who would like to perform two or three songs in the showcase segment.  This is a great opportunity to play on a professional platform and demonstrate what you can do with the ukulele.

As a bonus each solo player who registers to perform will be entered in a draw to win a 3-month block of lessons with Vic Kena valued at over $1000.
